Core Programs

Essential water safety skills designed to build confidence and stay with your child for a lifetime.

ISR lessons are one-on-one and tailored to your child’s skill and comfort level. 6–7 week session, 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday), 10 minutes per day.

Self-Rescue® Infant

CHILDREN 6 MONTHS TO 18 MONTHS OLD

Duration: 6 – 7 weeks

Infants learn the essential self-rescue skill of rolling onto their back to float, rest, and breathe. They are taught to stay calm and maintain this position independently until help arrives—giving them a critical layer of safety in the water.

Self-Rescue® Toddler

CHILDREN 18 MONTHS TO 8 YEARS OLD

Duration: 6 – 7 weeks

Children learn the swim-float-swim sequence, for reaching safety. They swim with their face in the water, roll onto their back to rest and breathe. They continue swimming until they reach the wall, steps, or edge.

Continuing Education

Polishing skills and building endurance through playful practice.

Pricing details

  • Tuition for the core ISR program (typically 6–7 weeks of short, daily lessons) is $750 total. A 50% non-refundable deposit ($375) is required to reserve your lesson block. The remaining balance is due one day before the first day of lessons.
  • Refresher tuition is $125 per week. A $125 non-refundable deposit is required at registration. The remaining balance is due one day before the first day of lessons. Maintenance lessons are $25 per class and are paid in full at the time of registration.
  • ISR national registration: a separate non-refundable fee paid directly to Infant Swimming Resource before lessons begin. It is $105 per child for the first calendar year and $40 each following year. This covers ISR's required health and aquatic review and official lesson approval.
  • Scholarships and payment plans may be available upon request—we never want cost alone to stand between your family and water safety.
